Customer Retention and Renewals Manager

About the role

The Customer Retention and Renewals Manager will manage existing lease customers as they approach the end of their contracts, guiding them to new vehicle solutions and ensuring they stay with Synergy Car Leasing. This newly created position offers the chance to shape the renewal process in a fast‑growing online SME.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively contact customers from six months before lease expiry via phone, email, video call or text to understand their next‑vehicle needs.
• Provide accurate quotations, check vehicle availability and secure orders in line with financial regulations and consumer‑duty standards.
• Maintain detailed records in the CRM, flagging follow‑ups and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate with Client Services, Marketing, and Data/Pricing teams to deliver tailored offers and communications.
• Report monthly performance against volume, profit, service and compliance targets to senior leadership.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of experience in customer‑facing sales or account management, preferably within automotive leasing or related financial services.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with the ability to nurture long‑term customer loyalty.
• Excellent communication skills across phone, email and video platforms.

• Proficiency with CRM systems for tracking interactions and managing pipelines.
