Customer Sales Advisor – Retail Sales & Service

About the role

The Customer Sales Advisor will deliver a high standard of service to shoppers while driving sales in a busy retail environment. Working on a full‑time permanent basis, you will be the main point of contact for customers both in‑store and over the phone.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sales enquiries face‑to‑face and via telephone, promoting the full range of services.
• Achieve store financial targets and maximise revenue from each customer interaction.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well‑presented store environment in line with health & safety standards.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Act as key holder and take responsibility for the store in the absence of the manager.
• Monitor and minimise bad debt, implementing recovery procedures where needed.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as required to support store operations.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear speaking ability and effective listening when dealing with customers.
• Self‑discipline, attention to detail and adherence to guidelines.
• Comfortable working both in a small team and independently.
• Confidence in product knowledge after completing induction and probation.
