Customer Service Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Administrator to deliver high‑quality support across multiple online sales platforms. You will manage customer communications, resolve issues promptly, and help minimise product returns while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and respond to customer service emails on platforms such as Amazon, eBay and other marketplaces.
• Resolve queries and complaints professionally and within agreed timeframes.
• Work proactively to reduce product returns while protecting company costs.
• Process and maintain accurate customer records using internal systems.
• Monitor email inboxes and ensure all correspondence is actioned.
• Update Excel spreadsheets and other administrative records.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve customer issues effectively.
• Learn and utilise company systems and support the wider administration team.
• Assist with reporting, data entry and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience handling customer service emails on online marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, eBay).
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to manage expectations and communicate clearly in writing.
• Good working knowledge of email management systems.
• Competent user of Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Quick learner who can adapt to new systems and processes.

What we offer

• Fixed working pattern: Mon 07:00‑16:30, Tue‑Fri 08:00‑16:30 (Thu ends at 16:00).
• Hourly rate of £14.00.
