Customer Service Administrator

About the role

An excellent opportunity for a customer‑focused administrator with B2B sales administration and account support experience to join a global packaging manufacturer. The role supports two growing sales divisions and works closely with customers such as McDonalds, Amazon, Marks & Spencer and Greggs.

Key responsibilities

• Sales order processing: Accurately process all sales orders within required time limits.
• Customer contact: Call customers as directed, ensuring a professional service at all times.
• Inbound communication: Respond to inbound calls and emails in line with company policy.
• Customer enquiries: Reply promptly and courteously within agreed time limits.
• Query resolution: Manage and conclude customer queries to a satisfactory outcome.
• Escalation support: Escalate queries where required.
• Internal coordination: Communicate with internal departments to meet account objectives.
• Customer meetings: Attend meetings or team calls with customers as needed.
• Credit control support: Assist the credit control supervisor to ensure payment terms are followed.
• Delivery coordination: Work with the operational team to ensure deliveries are fulfilled on time and in full.
• Reception cover: Provide reception cover when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in B2B sales administration, account support or customer service administration.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Confident communicator at all levels, both internally and externally.
• Numerate, commercially astute with good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
