Customer Service Advisor – 3‑Month Temporary Role

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor for a three‑month temporary contract in Stroud, supporting patients, healthcare professionals and GP surgeries within the pharmaceutical sector. The role is full‑time, Monday‑Friday, and involves handling calls, processing orders and ensuring a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound and make outbound calls to patients, carers, GP surgeries and healthcare professionals.
• Accurately process customer orders and prescription requests.
• Resolve queries promptly and manage complaints according to company procedures.
• Assist with courier and delivery enquiries.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects and help meet service‑level targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or call‑centre environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle a high volume of calls.
• Professional, empathetic and customer‑focused attitude.
• Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical or regulated settings is advantageous.
