Customer Service Advisor – Business Banking (Edinburgh, 12‑month FTC)

About the role

Santander is transforming into a technology‑driven organisation and is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join its TSB Business Banking team in Edinburgh. You will act as an Account Opening Specialist, helping business customers feel confident with their money and supporting them through the onboarding process.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day onboarding services for new business customers and support them via telephone.
• Carry out administrative tasks such as mailbox management, hybrid mailing and “Know Your Business” support.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer support and enhance service delivery.

Required profile

• Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge of policies and processes to achieve customer‑focused outcomes.
• Proactively suggest ways to reduce risks within the team and across Business Banking.
• Use product knowledge to discuss TSB’s range of services with business customers.
• Strong talent for communicating with people and a desire to support local businesses.

What we offer

• Starting salary of £25,000 plus a £500 flexible benefit allowance.
