Customer Service Advisor – Immediate Start (London)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast‑growing financial services business for a Customer Service Advisor to join their London support team. The position works a 2 pm‑11 pm shift in a hybrid setting, providing the first point of contact for customers handling accounts, payments and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls from customers regarding accounts, payments and transactions.
• Resolve queries on the first contact where possible and escalate when necessary.
• Accurately record customer information and case notes in internal systems.
• Investigate issues and follow them through to resolution.
• Identify and support customers in vulnerable circumstances in line with company policy.
• Adhere to internal procedures and regulatory standards on every interaction.

Required profile

• Previous customer service or contact‑centre experience (financial services background welcome but not essential).
• Clear, confident communication and genuine listening skills.
• Strong attention to detail in a regulated environment.
• Comfortable learning new systems and software quickly.
• Ability to stay composed and effective in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Availability to work the 2 pm‑11 pm shift pattern.
