Customer Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join our Customer Services office in Huncoat, Lancashire. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling queries and complaints across live chat, email and inbound calls, and delivering solutions quickly and professionally.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via live chat, email and phone.
• Resolve complaints and provide first‑call solutions wherever possible.
• Collaborate with other Bensons departments to find appropriate resolutions.
• Take ownership of cases and ensure they are closed to a high standard.
• Meet agreed service levels, targets and timelines.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing role (e.g., retail, hospitality, care or contact centre).
• Demonstrated ability to handle complaints calmly and professionally.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and initiative.
• Positive, adaptable attitude with empathy for customers.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and meet targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
