Customer Service Advisor – Part‑time (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Customer Service Advisor to join a nightwear brand’s support team on a part‑time, temporary basis. You will work from our office in Boldon Colliery, handling telephone, email and live‑chat enquiries and helping customers with product questions, orders, deliveries, returns and refunds.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently.
• Respond to enquiries via email and live chat.
• Assist customers with product information, order placement, delivery tracking, returns, exchanges and refunds.
• Process orders, amendments and payments accurately when required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and interaction notes in internal systems.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Develop strong product knowledge to provide accurate recommendations.
• Meet individual and team targets for quality, productivity and satisfaction.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Friendly, patient and professional telephone manner.
• Strong listening, problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Highly organised with great attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and stay calm under pressure.
• Empathetic, solution‑focused approach to customer concerns.
• Flexibility to adapt working hours during peak periods if needed.
