Customer Service Advisor – Part‑time (Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for a customer‑focused and organised individual to support the day‑to‑day operations of a residential property in Edinburgh. This short‑term, part‑time position offers hands‑on experience in delivering an excellent experience for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service, handling enquiries via email, phone, website and face‑to‑face.
• Support open days, conduct property viewings and assist with resident events and activities.
• Log and resolve complaints, following procedures to drive continuous service improvement.
• Provide administrative support to the Property Manager and ensure health‑and‑safety compliance.
• Respond to emergencies professionally, both during and outside normal working hours when required.

Required profile

• Friendly, professional attitude with a strong customer‑service focus.
• Excellent communication skills in person, by phone and email.
• Well‑organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Proactive, reliable and capable of working independently or within a small team.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, property or student accommodation is a plus but not essential.

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.71‑£13.
• Short‑term contract (2 weeks) providing hands‑on experience in a residential/property environment.
• Flexible part‑time schedule: Monday‑Friday, 9 am‑1 pm.
