Customer Service Advisor – Weekends (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Davies is seeking a part‑time Customer Service Advisor to work weekends on its Property team in Preston. You will handle inbound calls from home‑emergency insurance customers, guiding them through the claims journey from notification to resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls from policyholders reporting home emergencies.
• Validate policyholder details, diagnose issues and dispatch appropriate trade contractors.
• Keep customers informed throughout the claim process and manage expectations.
• Process excess policy payments, arrange boiler services and negotiate with contractors.
• Meet targets and KPIs in a friendly, professional call‑centre environment.
• Take opportunity to multi‑skill across various insurance product lines.

Required profile

• Experience in First Notification of Loss (FNOL) or claims handling is advantageous.
• Previous contact‑centre experience is a plus but not essential.
• Excellent telephone manner with strong customer‑service skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Positive, self‑confident approach with strong empathy and tact.
