Customer Service Assistant – 12‑Week Fixed‑Term

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our Keynsham SPAR store for a 12‑week fixed‑term contract. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, delivering friendly, efficient service and supporting the store’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and provide prompt assistance.
• Maintain store standards, cleanliness and tidy presentation.
• Accurately process sales transactions, handle cash and complete till close‑downs.
• Support stock management by receiving, replenishing and displaying merchandise.
• Create eye‑catching product displays and stay updated on promotions.
• Ensure compliance with food labelling, allergen information and age‑related sales regulations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation and a friendly attitude.
• Attention to detail for accurate cash handling and stock work.
• Desire to start or develop a career in retail.
