Customer Service Assistant – South Molton

About the role

Join the SPAR South Molton store team as a Customer Service Assistant. You will be the friendly face of the shop, helping customers enjoy a welcoming and efficient shopping experience while supporting the store’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, provide courteous assistance and resolve queries.
• Maintain store standards, ensuring a clean, tidy and well‑presented environment.
• Stay informed about product ranges, current promotions and create attractive displays.
• Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash, and perform till close‑downs securely.
• Receive, replenish and display stock, supporting inventory accuracy.
• Assist with store cleanliness and overall presentation throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling cash and stock.
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate clearly with customers.
