Customer Service Clerk – Freight Forwarding

About the role
We are seeking a Customer Service Clerk to join our freight forwarding team in Ashford. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and ensuring smooth shipment processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare quotations and complete all required documentation.
- Arrange import and export shipments.
- Communicate with customers via telephone and email.
- Monitor shipments and provide clients with progress updates.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Required profile
- Experience in freight forwarding (import or export).
- Strong customer service abilities.
- Comfortable working with IT systems.
- Available to work Monday to Friday.
