Customer Service Dispatcher

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Dispatcher to join our Sunbury‑on‑Thames team. In this role you will coordinate engineer appointments, balance workloads and ensure a smooth experience for our customers. You will work closely with field line managers and engineers to keep schedules on track and minimise no‑shows.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch engineers to customer sites, matching the right skill set to each job.
• Maintain and update engineer diaries, balancing workloads and productivity.
• Confirm and organise customer visits from initial contact through to completion.
• Collaborate with managers and engineers to resolve scheduling conflicts quickly.
• Coordinate materials, follow‑up visits and any required documentation to keep field teams focused.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation.
• Confident computer user with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Organised, proactive and comfortable making phone calls.
• Experience in scheduling, planning or workload coordination is a plus.
• Knowledge of the security or engineering industry is advantageous.
