Customer Service Manager – Stevenage

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Manager to lead a small, dedicated team in Stevenage. You will be responsible for ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while driving performance and efficiency across the department.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage, train, and support the customer service team.
  • Set, monitor, and report on KPIs and overall team performance.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction targets are consistently achieved.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve escalated issues.
  • Develop and maintain customer service procedures and processes.
  • Manage team holidays, scheduling, and departmental resources.
  • Keep customer service systems and processes up to date.

Required profile

  • Previous experience in a customer service management or supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
  • Customer‑focused with excellent problem‑solving skills.
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of motivating a team.

    What we offer

    • Salary range £30,000 – £36,000 per year.
    • Full‑time permanent contract.
    • Standard working hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
