About the role

We are looking for a Customer Services Advisor to join our fast‑paced, customer‑focused team in Chelmsford. You will be the first point of contact, handling enquiries across email, phone, live chat and instant messaging while delivering a high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing professional and friendly service.
• Manage a high volume of enquiries via email, telephone, live chat and instant messaging.
• Investigate and resolve queries related to orders, deliveries, returns and products.
• Provide product information and recommendations to support customer needs.
• Handle complaints effectively, identifying suitable resolutions within company guidelines.
• Prioritise workload to meet agreed service levels and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure customer data is handled confidentially and in line with GDPR.
• Liaise with internal departments to resolve issues and provide timely updates.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or support role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure.
• Positive, proactive and customer‑focused attitude.
