Customer Success Engineer II – Cloud, Storage, Compute, Identity (Remote, UK)

About the role

Qumulo is seeking a Customer Success Engineer II to support enterprise customers using its cloud data platform. The role focuses on troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in cloud environments such as AWS and Azure, ensuring a seamless experience for both cloud and on‑premises deployments.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Qumulo product issues across on‑premises and cloud file systems, including infrastructure, permissions, performance, and general file system problems.
• Prioritize and drive resolution of escalated customer issues in cloud and on‑premises settings.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to expedite issue resolution and provide feedback on product gaps.
• Share knowledge with peers and mentors on complex technical challenges.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in a customer‑facing technical role, with 1‑3 years focused on cloud environment troubleshooting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment and manage the full lifecycle of customer issues.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) covering compute, storage, networking, and identity management.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Knowledge of Active Directory or LDAP and file‑permission models in cloud environments.
• Basic network troubleshooting skills.
• Python programming (a plus).
