Customer Support Officer - Health & Safety

About the role

Join Alcumus in Cardiff as a Customer Support Officer focused on Health & Safety. You will support the Audit Services team by reviewing desktop assessments of customers' accreditation documentation and delivering first‑class technical support via phone and email.

Key responsibilities

• Complete pre‑audit checks on customer information to ensure a minimum standard before progressing to full audit.
• Work through multiple pre‑audit checks, collating required documentation.
• Provide feedback to customers and gather any missing information for the pre‑audit stage.
• Assist customers with improvement areas needed to pass the audit and achieve accreditation.
• Deliver health and safety advice and guidance to customers after full training.

Required profile

• Strong customer service, administrative experience and attention to detail.
• Consistent application of quality processes and ability to spot discrepancies.
• Confidence handling enquiries via telephone and email with good written English.
• Team‑player who works well within a close‑knit group to achieve common objectives.
• Interest or experience in health and safety or compliance is a plus, but not essential.
