Customer Supporter

About the role

Join a compassionate, community‑focused team at The Winding retirement community, supporting residents and ensuring everyday moments are meaningful. This part‑time position offers a blend of front‑of‑house duties and activity coordination, helping customers live life on their own terms.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome customers and provide front‑of‑house reception support.
• Create and lead individual and group activities that reflect personal interests.
• Promote and review activities to help customers achieve their goals.
• Support customers in connecting with the local community and maintaining independence.
• Enable residents to continue living life on their own terms.

Required profile

• Ability to develop and lead engaging activities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer‑care skills.
• Confidence in prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

Required skills

• Basic Microsoft Word knowledge.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.

What we offer

• £13.23 per hour (approximately £37,894 per year) for 15 hours per week.
• 33 days of annual leave pro‑rata, rising to 38 days including bank holidays.
