Customer Team Leader – Retail Store

About the role

Join the Co‑op team in Windermere as a Customer Team Leader, overseeing daily store operations and guiding a small team to deliver excellent service to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the store on your shift, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
• Motivate, coach and support team members to achieve high service standards.
• Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, setting the pace for the crew.
• Maintain merchandising standards, stock accuracy and assist with HR processes.
• Promote Co‑op membership and engage with community and charitable initiatives.

Required profile

• Passion for people and a natural leadership style.
• Flexibility to work a mix of opening, closing, evening and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work on‑site and lead by example.
• Retail, merchandising or team‑management experience (not essential).
