Customer Trading Advisor

About the role

The Customer Trading Advisor supports brokers and ensures smooth trading operations within the insurance sector. You will be the primary point of contact for inbound and outbound communications, helping to meet policy requirements efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound telephone calls with a professional, friendly approach.
• Serve as a knowledgeable liaison for brokers, delivering high‑quality customer service.
• Run internal reports to identify outstanding actions, follow up on new and renewal business, and assist the accounts team in reducing aged debt.
• Process claims cover requests and maintain service standards.
• Manage team mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and task completion.
• Update internal systems with call notes, policy details and relevant documentation.
• Chase brokers for missing policy information and escalate issues to underwriters when needed.
• Support policy trading activities in line with company procedures and contribute to improving customer satisfaction scores.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer service or call‑handling role, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to manage challenging conversations.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external brokers.
