Customs Brokerage Agent – Severn Beach

About the role

We are looking for an organised, detail‑oriented Customs Brokerage Agent to join our busy logistics operation in Severn Beach. You will support the smooth movement of freight by handling customs clearance and providing excellent service to customers and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Process customs documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Manage customs clearance for import, export and transit shipments.
• Receive, review and enter shipping and customs documents into operational systems.
• Prepare and process customer invoices.
• Liaise with customers, carriers and internal departments regarding shipment status and customs requirements.
• Monitor and resolve customs or documentation issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures and government regulations.
• Support the team in achieving operational KPIs and service standards.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Previous logistics, freight forwarding, customs or administration experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Proactive and collaborative approach to work.
