Customs, Logistics & Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Customs, Logistics & Operations Coordinator to join our client’s team in Milton Keynes. The role is permanent, full‑time or part‑time and based 100 % on‑site. You will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end flow of goods, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and supporting daily warehouse operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists and all required shipping documentation.
• Book shipments via courier platforms, compare options and coordinate collections and deliveries.
• Track shipments, proactively manage delays and resolve issues.
• Pack goods securely, select appropriate packaging materials and label items correctly.
• Record inbound goods, maintain stock accuracy and assist with stock checks and audits.
• Receive and inspect deliveries, reporting any damage or discrepancies.
• Pick and prepare orders, updating dispatch and tracking information in the system.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customs and logistics administration.
• Proven ability to create commercial invoices and work with customs commodity codes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with courier booking systems and export documentation.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Excel.
