Cut and Crease Operator / Die Cutter

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cut and Crease Operator with strong BOBST die‑cutter expertise to join our finishing department in Leeds. The role involves running and setting up cut‑and‑crease machinery to produce high‑quality folding carton packaging for major brands.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and set‑up BOBST cut and crease machinery.
• Perform machine make‑ready, tooling setup and embossing/debossing processes.
• Produce high‑quality folding carton packaging according to job tickets.
• Monitor quality throughout production runs and achieve target speeds.
• Read and interpret production specifications and job tickets.
• Carry out routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience operating BOBST cut and crease machinery.
• Background in folding carton or printed packaging production.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Positive, reliable team player with a flexible attitude.

Required skills

• Operating BOBST cut and crease machines (e.g., SP 102, Novacut, Expertcut).
• Tooling setup and machine make‑ready procedures.
• Embossing and decorative finishing techniques.
• Reading and interpreting job tickets and production specifications.
• Routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
