About the role
Mandiant, part of Google Cloud, is seeking a Cyber Defence Analyst to support clients across Europe. The role is remote and focuses on strengthening customer security operations, threat detection, and incident response.
Key responsibilities
- Identify gaps in customer cyber‑defence centres and design improvement strategies.
- Perform real‑time analysis using SIEM, endpoint, and network technologies to detect security events and reduce false positives.
- Advise on CDC, CSIRT, and SOC management activities.
- Research threat intelligence, attacker techniques, and remediation methods to enhance SOC detection and response.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to drive resolution of security issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience developing cybersecurity solutions and working in SOC, malware research, or threat‑hunting roles.
- Fluent French communication skills for client‑facing interactions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with SIEM and EDR platforms.
- Scripting in PowerShell and Python.
- Strong knowledge of Linux, Windows and network equipment security controls.
- Experience in threat hunting, malware analysis and endpoint detection.
