Cyber Risk Business Analyst Team Lead

About the role

Join a global investment banking organisation as a Cyber Risk Business Analyst Team Lead. You will manage a team of 13 analysts and drive end‑to‑end delivery across cyber risk and broader technology transformation programmes. The role combines strategic oversight, stakeholder engagement and hands‑on business analysis in a hybrid London setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end business analysis for global technology change programmes covering Risk, Finance, Front Office, Operations, Compliance and Cyber Risk.
• Manage and develop a team of 13 business analysts, building cyber‑risk BA capability.
• Own requirements gathering, functional specifications, solution definition and stakeholder sign‑off.
• Define and execute test strategies, test plans and test cases; support system, integration and UAT delivery.
• Produce management information, KPIs and senior‑level delivery reporting across programmes.
• Manage RAID (risks, issues, dependencies) and drive resolution and escalation.
• Perform data‑driven analysis using production data, advanced Excel and SQL.
• Ensure governance, auditability and regulatory alignment for all deliverables.
• Resolve dual‑hat / multi‑entity considerations and cross‑priority conflicts.
• Promote continuous improvement and emerging technologies, including AI, within the BA function.

Required profile

• Extensive business analysis experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets products such as bonds, derivatives, credit, securities financing, FX, loans and deposits.
• Deep understanding of trade lifecycle and booking processes, preferably with Murex exposure.
• Proven expertise in cyber risk, specifically Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
• Experience leading a sizeable analyst team in a complex financial services environment.
