Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

The Information Security Analyst will join the Cybersecurity Operations Group, reporting to the Director of Information Security & Assurance. The role focuses on continuous monitoring, threat detection, and incident response across the organization’s networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events using SIEM, EDR, and other tools within defined SLAs.
• Investigate, respond to, and resolve security incidents, ensuring timely containment and mitigation.
• Perform triage, root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with IT teams to remediate security issues.
• Conduct email threat analysis through manual and automated methods.
• Participate in Vulnerability Management, Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI), and other security sub‑programs.
• Apply networking knowledge to assess risk, understand attack lifecycles, and support security operations.
• Maintain documentation, report metrics, and identify process gaps.
• Join an on‑call roster for off‑hour incident response and occasional weekend/holiday coverage.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in information security or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of cyber‑defense practices and attack techniques across platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and effective time management.
