Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

As a Cyber Security Consultant at CGI you will help organisations across the UK strengthen their resilience against evolving cyber threats. Working within a large consultancy you will assess risks, develop security policies and advise clients in sectors such as government, defence, healthcare and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and advise on cyber security risks across business, operational and technology environments.
• Develop and improve cyber security policies, standards and governance processes.
• Analyse and recommend security controls aligned with recognised frameworks and best practice.
• Support business continuity, incident response and operational resilience capabilities.
• Collaborate with clients and deliver trusted cyber security advice across multiple sectors.
• Apply and interpret threat intelligence to inform security strategy and risk management.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication.

Required profile

• Experience working with clients to understand business objectives and translate them into security solutions.
• Ability to take ownership of complex engagements and contribute innovative thinking.
• Strong collaborative mindset and willingness to develop professionally within a team of cyber experts.
