Cyber Security Engineer – Cloud Security Specialist

About the role

KPMG is looking for a client‑facing Cyber Security Engineer with deep expertise in cloud security. You will work within multi‑cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) to embed security controls and protect client infrastructures.

Key responsibilities

• Secure multi‑cloud platforms and embed security principles into cloud‑native architectures.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps and security teams to design and implement security solutions.
• Support projects and workstreams, consulting with partners, directors and senior managers.
• Plan and shape engagement delivery, including work plans, timelines and resource allocation.
• Provide input on security operations capabilities, monitoring and SIEM integration.
• Build and manage day‑to‑day client relationships.

Required profile

• Technical background with experience in an operational engineering function.
• Proven ability to translate technology into business‑focused security solutions.
• Strong consulting skills and a record of delivering complex security engineering engagements.

Required skills

• Cloud platforms: AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
• Cloud networking and architecture principles.
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) models.
• Security monitoring and SIEM integration.
• Hands‑on security engineering and operational experience.
