Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Cyber Security Engineer to lead the technical delivery of a large‑scale Cyber Security Improvement Programme. Reporting directly to the CISO, you will own end‑to‑end workstreams covering cloud, identity and endpoint security across a complex enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and deploy Microsoft security solutions including Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Entra ID (PIM, Conditional Access) and Intune.
• Secure Microsoft Azure and AWS platforms, implementing hardening and monitoring controls.
• Develop and enforce identity and device security standards, Zero Trust architectures and endpoint baselines.
• Create detailed design documentation, technical standards and runbooks.
• Act as the primary technical authority, guiding configuration, testing and rollout activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading technical security projects in enterprise settings.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management and endpoint protection.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of delivery milestones.
