Cyber Security GRC Consultant

About the role

As a Cyber Security Consultant at Airbus Protect, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients across multiple sectors, helping them navigate complex threat and regulatory landscapes. You will combine tactical compliance work with strategic risk management to strengthen incident prevention and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on security architecture, Secure by Design, network segmentation and zero‑trust frameworks.
• Lead technical advisory engagements on IDAM, PAM and DLP, translating complex topics into actionable business advice.
• Provide regulatory guidance and ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NIST 800‑53, NCSC CAF, NIS2 and emerging legislation.
• Conduct gap assessments and produce risk assessments, remediation roadmaps and assurance artefacts throughout the system lifecycle.
• Support business development through content creation, sales enablement and participation in bids and industry events.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in cyber security consulting or technical leadership.
• Ability to obtain or hold UK Government Security Clearance.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CISA, ISO 27001, GICSP or ISA 62443.
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to work autonomously across virtual, trans‑national teams.

• Expertise in IDAM, PAM, DLP, Secure by Design, network segmentation and zero‑trust frameworks.
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks: NIST CSF, NIST 800‑53, NCSC CAF, NIS2, Cyber Resilience Act, AI Act, EASA Part‑IS.
• Proficiency with AI tools for productivity and securing AI environments.
