Cyber Security Intern

About the role

We are seeking motivated Cyber Security Interns to gain hands‑on experience in protecting digital assets. This remote, three‑month placement follows UK industry standards and offers mentorship from seasoned security professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and analysing security vulnerabilities and threats.
• Support basic security assessments and risk‑analysis activities.
• Participate in monitoring systems, networks, and security alerts.
• Research emerging cyber threats and attack techniques.
• Help with incident‑response documentation and security reporting.
• Complete cybersecurity assignments, case studies, and practical labs.
• Collaborate with mentors and team members on security‑related projects.

Required profile

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop security skills.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.
