Cyber Security Lead

About the role

This is a varied, hands‑on role where you’ll support the planning, delivery and continuous improvement of cyber security and business continuity across the Customer Business. Working alongside experienced security professionals, you’ll help keep operations secure, resilient and aligned with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and respond to security incidents, coordinating with relevant teams.
• Manage risk, third‑party assurance and recovery planning activities.
• Review existing processes, pinpoint improvement areas and implement changes.
• Collaborate with the wider Iberdrola Group and external partners on strategic initiatives.
• Maintain day‑to‑day operational security to ensure consistent service delivery.

Required profile

• Background in cyber security and/or business continuity within an IT environment.
• Experience in monitoring, incident response or service delivery.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 or ISO 22301 frameworks is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate technical risks clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong problem‑solving, collaborative mindset and balance of strategic and operational thinking.
