Cyber Security Specialist

About the role

Join Airbus Defence and Space’s Digital Security Operations Team in Stevenage to develop next‑generation defence systems. You will define and execute cybersecurity technologies and procedures to mitigate short‑ and long‑term threats in a dynamic, international environment. The role requires UK Security Clearance (SC) or the ability to obtain it.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage security products, including EDR, multi‑antivirus solutions and email sandboxing tools.
• Support Sec DevOps and secure development automation initiatives, and define a company‑wide threat‑modeling framework.
• Lead the end‑to‑end vulnerability management lifecycle, covering risk prioritisation, remediation tracking and scan policy optimisation.
• Assist with security incident and request management, authorising policies, firewall rules and access controls.

Required profile

• Experience in security architecture, risk analysis and security countermeasures.
• Experience managing advanced security solutions such as EDR and email threat protection tools.
• Proven expertise in performing threat modelling to identify and mitigate architectural security risks.
• Experience designing and overseeing an enterprise‑wide Vulnerability Management Programme using Tenable.
