Daily Supply Primary Teacher

About the role

Academics is seeking enthusiastic Daily Supply Primary Teachers to support schools in Brighton & Hove. You will deliver pre‑prepared lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, ensuring continuity of learning while staff are absent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
• Follow each school’s policies and procedures.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings, year groups and pupil needs.
• Provide clear feedback to school staff after each assignment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and organisational abilities.
• Flexible, professional and positive attitude.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for primary education.
