Daily Supply Teacher – Flexible Secondary School Cover

About the role

We are looking for Daily Supply Teachers to provide cover for long‑term and day‑to‑day sickness in secondary schools across West Sussex and Surrey. This flexible, temporary role allows you to deliver pre‑planned lessons and adapt quickly to new classroom environments.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pre‑planned lessons across various secondary subjects.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a constructive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of different classes and student groups.
• Provide feedback on student performance and report notable incidents.
• Collaborate with existing teaching staff and follow school policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching in secondary schools.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and flexible approach to teaching.
