Daily Supply Teaching Assistant – East London

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants and Supply Cover Staff to provide daily cover across primary schools in East London. The role offers flexible, on‑site work in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms, supporting pupils through group activities and one‑to‑one interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Provide small‑group and individual support, including SEND assistance.
• Supervise and monitor pupils during cover periods.
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment.

Required profile

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
• Safeguarding training completed within the past year (preferred).
• Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.

Required skills
