Daily Supply Teaching Assistant – Flexible School Support

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Supply Teaching Assistants to join a network of welcoming schools across Barking, Dagenham and East London. This flexible, daily‑supply position allows you to work in primary, secondary or early years settings, supporting pupils and teachers on an as‑needed basis while gaining valuable classroom experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils individually or in small groups during lessons.
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Provide calm, structure and positivity in busy classroom environments.
• Support pupils with additional needs where required.
• Help ensure smooth learning throughout the school day.

Required profile

• Experience working with children or young people (school‑based experience is a plus but not mandatory).
• Background in childcare, tutoring, youth work, coaching or SEN support is welcome.
• Friendly, adaptable and confident personality.
• Comfortable working in new and varied school environments.
• Genuine passion for helping young people succeed.
