Data Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Data Administrator to join a growing business in Swinton on an initial six‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Data Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining key business data sets and delivering accurate internal and external reports.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and maintain system customer and contractor account records.
• Generate and distribute manual and automated month‑end customer reports.
• Validate completed sales orders in Sage X3 before invoicing.
• Perform final invoice checks prior to dispatch.
• Assist the Head of Data with data‑cleaning activities.
• Carry out ad‑hoc data management tasks as directed by the Data Manager.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently on large data sets.
• Strong attention to data quality and validation.
• Good understanding of data relationships within a business environment.
• Commitment to company behaviours and a collaborative workplace.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using Sage X3 for sales order validation.
