Data Analyst

About the role

A fast‑growing financial services business is scaling quickly and needs stronger data visibility to keep pace. This newly created Data Analyst role will shape how the business measures performance and turns data into better decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Establish core KPIs to understand commercial and operational performance.
• Work with senior stakeholders to define reporting priorities and translate business questions into data requirements.
• Identify, assess and improve data quality across multiple sources.
• Build a robust reporting framework and consistent standards for performance measurement.
• Develop executive‑level dashboards and automate recurring reporting.
• Analyse revenue, profitability, product and service‑line performance and present insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience in capital markets, ideally prime brokerage or prime services.
• Solid commercial and operational data analysis background.
• Strong understanding of data quality, reporting structures, KPIs and dashboarding.
• Ability to work across multiple data sources, resolve inconsistencies and improve efficiency.
• Comfortable communicating with senior executives and translating complex data into actionable insight.
• Proactive attitude, comfortable with ambiguity and fast‑moving environments.
