Data Analyst – Snowflake / Salesforce (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join a financial services client on a 6‑month contract. The role bridges the engineering and data analytics teams with business stakeholders, working on‑site in Bristol once a week.

Key responsibilities

• Extract, cleanse, and transform data from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with the visualisation team to deliver Power BI or Tableau dashboards.
• Define data requirements with business stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
• Support the use of Snowflake (or a similar cloud data warehouse) for data storage and processing.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and reporting to support financial services initiatives.

Required profile

• Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working closely with both technical teams and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a contract environment.

Required skills

• Snowflake or comparable cloud data warehouse.
• Proficient SQL.
• Power BI or Tableau for visualisation.
• Python for data manipulation.
• Salesforce knowledge (nice to have).
