Data Analyst – Vendor Licensing (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join a fast‑growing technology organisation in the cyber‑resilience and managed services space. The role focuses on analysing vendor licensing data, consumption trends and commercial performance to support smarter licensing decisions and improve forecasting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse vendor licensing data, customer consumption and entitlement usage.
• Maintain accurate customer‑to‑licensing mappings across vendor environments.
• Build reporting models to track utilisation, forecasting and commercial performance.
• Identify licensing risks, cost‑saving opportunities and margin improvements.
• Create dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel.
• Support vendor renewals with data‑driven insights.
• Provide commercial reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Improve processes and develop new analytical frameworks from scratch.

Required profile

• Experience as a Data Analyst, Commercial Analyst, FinOps or similar analytical role.
• Strong commercial mindset and ability to turn data into business insights.
• Technology industry experience (SaaS, cloud, MSP or licensing) is highly desirable.
• Exposure to vendor licensing, consumption tracking or software asset management is a plus.
• Proactive attitude with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience using AI/LLM tools for analysis is advantageous.
