Data and Exams Officer

About the role

The Data and Exams Officer will manage the school’s data systems and oversee the administration of both internal and external examinations, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with awarding bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain assessment and reporting data within the school MIS database.
• Provide administrative support for data, assessment and recording processes.
• Coordinate public examinations, liaising with teachers, students, parents and examination boards.
• Ensure compliance with all awarding bodies’ regulations and oversee internal exam processes.
• Support senior leadership in the strategic management of assessment, reporting and tracking systems.

Required profile

• 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (grade 9‑4/A*‑C).
• Experience managing school MIS software such as Bromcom.
• Proven ability to produce accurate data for reporting and assessment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure to deadlines.
