Data and Impact Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Data and Impact Manager to lead the data function for the Baker Dearing Educational Trust, working in partnership with Aston Education. The role will be remote and part‑time, focusing on turning educational data into clear evidence of impact across the network of University Technical Colleges.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee collection, validation and analysis of educational and organisational data from UTCs.
• Produce dashboards, reports and recommendations that inform strategic decision‑making.
• Demonstrate and communicate the impact of Baker Dearing programmes to internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead high‑profile projects aimed at improving outcomes for young people.
• Collaborate closely with UTC leaders, the Baker Dearing team and external partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in data analysis and impact measurement within the education sector.
• Ability to translate complex data into accessible insights for diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational and project‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working remotely on a part‑time basis.

What we offer

• £225 per day consultancy rate or pro‑rated salary up to £27,000 (full‑time equivalent £45,000).
• Fixed‑term contract until 31 August 2027 with potential extension.
• Flexible start date and remote working arrangement.
