Data Architect

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished Data Architect to join our multinational team in London. The role is hybrid, with three days on‑site and two days remote, and focuses on designing, developing and maintaining scalable cloud‑based data solutions that serve internal teams, stakeholders and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain a modern cloud data platform supporting analytics, reporting and operational systems.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and manage SQL Server databases across on‑premises and Azure environments.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, data scientists and business teams to deliver cloud‑based data platforms.
• Ensure data is secure, reliable, accessible and optimised for performance.
• Shape the organisation’s data architecture and identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Data Architect with hands‑on work using Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services.
• Track record of designing and optimising data warehouses and large‑scale data platforms.
• Advanced SQL and reporting expertise.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and drive data‑driven innovation.
