About the role

Key responsibilities

• Build and support data products within a modern data platform.
• Design and deliver solutions together with engineers, scientists and product teams.
• Develop and optimise data pipelines across the analytics platform.
• Integrate data from varied sources while maintaining strong quality standards.
• Maintain orchestration, monitoring and performance of data components.
• Improve engineering processes across the wider data community.
• Promote high coding and data‑practice standards.
• Experiment with emerging data, ML and AI technologies.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Python, PySpark, SQL and either Databricks or Snowflake.
• AWS cloud data‑engineering expertise.
• Proven ability to build scalable batch and real‑time pipelines.
• Familiarity with Airflow, CI/CD and Git.
• Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (beneficial).
• Exposure to production environments.
• Generative AI experience is an advantage.
• Passion for data, AI and solving complex technical challenges.
