Data Engineer – London (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join a fast‑growing organisation that is heavily investing in its data capabilities and digital transformation. Based in London with a hybrid working model, you will help shape enterprise‑wide data strategy and deliver high‑impact data transformation programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy enterprise‑wide data management solutions.
• Build and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and automated data workflows.
• Lead data quality initiatives, including profiling, cleansing, validation and monitoring.
• Manage complex data migration projects across multiple source and target systems.
• Implement and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance processes.
• Develop metadata capabilities such as data catalogues, business glossaries and lineage.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders in Agile delivery environments.
• Utilise cloud‑based data services across Azure, AWS and GCP.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering data engineering and data management solutions in enterprise settings.
• Strong understanding of data quality, migration, MDM and governance concepts.
• Ability to work with large, complex datasets and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience in Agile teams and stakeholder collaboration.
