Data Engineer – Microsoft Fabric

About the role

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join an internationally established business that is building a new enterprise data platform on Microsoft Fabric. The role will start at an early stage of the programme, giving you the chance to shape pipelines, data models and engineering standards that will support reporting, analytics and future AI initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build ETL and ELT pipelines using Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory.
• Develop robust data models and implement a Medallion architecture within the Fabric Data Warehouse.
• Define and enforce technical standards across the data platform.
• Collaborate with architects, analysts and other technology teams to ensure data reliability and suitability for reporting, analytics and AI.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric or the broader Azure data stack.
• Proven ability to develop ETL/ELT pipelines and data models at scale.
• Experience implementing Medallion architecture and building reliable, scalable data solutions.

• Salary up to £55,000 per year plus an annual bonus.
