About the role
Cedar is partnering with a leading national transportation organisation to appoint a Data Manager who will shape and lead enterprise‑wide data capabilities. The role is pivotal in driving data strategy, governance and innovation across a complex operational environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement the organisation’s data strategy and governance framework.
- Lead the design, deployment and management of data and analytics platforms.
- Drive innovation through AI, advanced analytics and machine‑learning initiatives.
- Translate complex data concepts into clear, actionable insights for non‑technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data quality and compliance.
Required profile
- Proven experience in the transportation sector or a comparable regulated, asset‑intensive environment.
- Strong track record of implementing and governing data management and analytics platforms.
- Exposure to AI initiatives, advanced analytics and machine‑learning technologies.
- Ability to communicate data insights effectively to non‑technical audiences.
